What defect is this policy trying to remedy? In the cases that have been highlighted so far the (suspected) perpetrators have been identified quickly. In many cases the perpetrators paid through platforms that would link them to the bookings, eg/ mobile money. It seems that the possibility of being identified is not a deterrent to the hideous crimes. I am not convinced that this new policy will make anyone safer.
