Kivuva I disagree. The key word there is authority. Sometimes in our push for this innovative/youth centred agenda, we forget that real leadership skills, in sectors with extensive and unyielding self-interests requires experience to navigate. But the first line of defence is a credible board so we should look out for that. There is no need to get an innovative CEO while the board is a bunch of ideologically malleable individuals kowtowing to and pushing the interests of private sector and special interest groups. I don’t know if this age limit is the magic. Dr Ndemo was probably older than that when he was appointed PS and he did a great job we all seem to agree. I would say let’s find the right person to head it. Personally, I would advocate for someone that has no interest in politics.****

Who will be the Director-General? Dr. Ndemo is certainly a good bet. Louis Otieno of Microsoft is another. Dr. Shem Ochuodho. Stephen Kiptiness.....* ***
