It aims to build a critical mass of individuals advocating for Internet rights and freedoms through equipping the participants with the skills needed to participate meaningfully in local, regional and global policy discourse. It has been held annually since 2016. * Peter Mmbando, KeSIG and KeIGF Fellow 2020, from Tanzania, has written a paper "*The Shortfalls of and Probable Solutions for Data Governance in East Africa"* He argues that in East Africa, we need an infrastructure that is sufficient where data storage is managed on its own to reduce dependency and the need for capacity building through increased literacy on digital rights. *Link * https://bit.ly/3sAPUJl *Kind Regards,* *David Indeje *_____________________________________ +254 (0) 711 385 945 | +254 (0) 734 024 856 <https://www.linkedin.com/in/david-indeje/>
