Waudo, I believe one way of limiting software piracy is my making licenced software affordable. Enforcement of expensive software licences has already proved ineffective. --- Wainaina Mungai http://www.madeinkenya.org SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

Microsoft has been active in BSA activity in Kenya. It is very importatnt that we discourage piracy of software which is very high particularly in Africa.
Kind Regards, Waudo

Hi Alice
Do you have any idea of how active the Business Software Alliance (BSA) is in Kenya and East Africa? They are made up of large multinational companies that are starting to prosecute people and particularly governments and large institutions who are using pirated software? I just thought you may have come across them through KICTANET and KEPSA / KIF.
