On behalf of KICTANet, we extend our deepest condolences to the family of the late Dr. Fernando Wangila. His death is a considerable loss, not only to his family but also for Kenya’s technology industry.

We recognise him as a champion of digital transformation who made great contributions to Kenya’s tech industry.

He was instrumental in the implementation of the Transport Information Management System (TIMS) at the National Transport and Safety Authority where he served as Head of ICT  Director.

As a KICTANet lister, he was always benevolent in sharing his ideas with us through our many forums.

Peace and comfort to his family!
