1. Among very many other dignitaries, we are pleased to inform you that the UN Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Expression and Opinion is attending the 2024 IDEI global conference, taking place at the AU HQ 6-7 November 2024.

• She will be holding a special consultation with a few delegates, on a thematic report to the Human Rights Council on freedom of expression and elections in the digital age.
• If attending the 2024 IDEI at the AU HQ and wish to be invited to this special session, do get in touch with me.
