Thanks Ali,

I think there are elements worth noting in all this discussion:
  1. Firstly, IBM are market leaders in AI. Watson is above all other AI products out there, if theres a niche IBM has apart from Blockchain its AI.
  2. There are other interest areas that IBM and other players are investing heavily to complement this: And thats IoT and Big Data / Data Warehousing and resulting Business Intelligence technologies.
  3. This will then be complemented by Platform as a Service businesses.
Interesting times, and AI will complement everything in the end. So you'd find that a lot of technology being developed on aggressively will feed into an AI workflow - so these technologies become the means to an AI end :D

This may be interesting for some of you.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is already becoming entrenched in many facets of everyday life, and is being tapped for a growing array of core business applications, including predicting market and customer behavior, automating repetitive tasks and providing alerts when things go awry. As technology becomes more sophisticated, the use of AI will continue to grow quickly in the coming years.
