Hello,
My name is Tyler. I remember my first MozFest journey, sifting through ideas and trying to figure out what resonated with me as a facilitator, learner, and explorer. There was such an enticing variety of Spaces to experience, and a range of areas where any of my session ideas could flourish. From artistic and creative moments, to grounding social movement, to workshops and active discussions, there is always space for any unique direction for a session. I found solace in the fact MozFest is inclusive of all and holds a space for revolutionary thinking.
I encourage you to submit your idea and join us at this years event.
MozFest is a unique hybrid: part art, tech and society convening, part maker festival, and the premiere gathering for activists in diverse global movements fighting for a more humane digital world. Your work can make a huge difference in the fight. The Call for Session Proposals is now open through December 16 and we’re looking for participatory, accessible, and inclusive virtual session ideas to bring MozFest to life!
This call is open to anyone interested in the role tech plays in our lives. You don’t need specific expertise or skills to host a session; all you need is a great idea, project, design theory, campaign, or personal experience that you would like to unpack and collaborate on with a global community.
You can submit your session idea on our website. If you have questions, or want to run an idea past our team, reply to this email. We’d love to hear from you!
Happy MozFesting!
