Robert, You're not alone! This is an issue that Safaricom should resolve quickly! We miss those days when we would get prompt response from Safaricom! even on this list. A lot Kenyans are losing money this way - consumers are not effectively protected in this country! Pertinent information is hidden in places not easy to get even by literate and techy users, how about illiterate, non-techy users! I wonder why Consumer issues are never taken seriously! That's beside the point, I recently got a SMS about the Safaricom daily data bundle, which to the best of my knowledge I did not subscribe to as I do not use my phone for browsing (actually I have a separate phone for such activities). I assumed that the message was in error so I ignored it just to realise a few days later that the service was being renewed every day so I dialled the request code *544# to unsubscribe from the service just to find that the option does not exist on the menu. I then called 200 for assistance to be told that the item is not on the menu but that I should type "98" to get the option, we expect better from Safaricom can someone please resolve this issue a.s.a.p to prevent some of us from blowing the issue to the required proportions.
