Alari and I held opposing political views which are well know through out Highway Africa coz
of one interview we did at SABC but I must say he was always a sober guy in his arguments.

He was the chair of Kenya ICT Journalists Association.

I am told he was trying to avoid a head on collision with an oncoming "matatu" when he rammed into the back of a trailler
