I am staying in a so-called "5-star hotel" in Mombasa but there are unpedictable power outages that keep plunging the tourists in darkness before the back-up generators come on. I understand this is a common, alas daily, occurence. Why can't this power issue be addressed once and for all and how do industries like BPO and ITES cope? Will we really become an ICT hub of choice with this basic instability? Waudo
