The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is one of the most abused acts at worst and completely ineffective at best. Studies have shown that it's services like iTunes, Netflix, Rdio and spotify that have lead to reduced piracy rates in the US and not the law. Which is why I keep come back to the business model problem
