Hi,
For a long time I tried to understand the reasons for country specific IP address allocations, many of those I asked seemed to think that it was all about security and post 9/11 paranoia but I believe its all about control and commerce and today reality came home
What happened today?
You are correct in that regulators feel that since they control phone number distribution, they also want to control IP address distribution despite the current efficient model that does not give control to regulators.
