The police must be reformed first! They work together and are also owners of these matatus. It is very frustrating because even when you report or threaten to report, you are ridiculed by the drivers/makangas as they now nothing will happen to them. Recently at Westlands roundabout a makanga threatened to deflate my tires because I refused to move to allow them make an illegal turn. This was after he had hauled all sort of abuses and I appeared unmoved. What made it worse was that am a lady and therefore he knew I could do much too him but thanks to fellow motorists, he was threatened with mob justice for harassing me and its only then that he went away. What's needed is proper enforcement of the law by the police. The laws exist. The police exist. The law simply isn't enforced.
To get proper enforcement, pay the police properly, instil discipline from the top and give them proper training and resources on how to do their job. That's what's needed.

Well Cleophas we cannot give up on our country East or West home is best, we have got to do something as citizens. I recently gave one of the matatu drivers a piece of my mind for cutting in and he asked me who i thought i was because he had cut in over 50 Vehicles on Langata road, i told him i was a patriotic citizen and custodian of the law , i reminded him that ought to be in approved school, i wonder if they still exist, some of them just behave live spoilt children.
Best Regards
Barrack,
Simply, unbelievable! I wonder who will help on this.

Mr. Moi also had it going with the Nyayo Bus, until he changed his priority to political survival and abandoned Nyayo projects for one Nyayo project
