Dear Listers,

Am a big believer in the validity of the Konza Technocity dream. Last week I went through online arguments opposing the project and am beginning to conclude that they are about two issues :-

(1) What sectoral interventions are urgent and which are important?

(2) Whether real estate and physical infrastructure are valid interventions in the ICT sector.

I penned down my counter arguments in an article "why would you call Konza Technocity a white elephant?". Am curious to hear from pundits here what the current popular position on these sticky issues is..
