Main purpose of the job

APC is looking for a person to join its communications team as content curator and writer for APC-managed platforms and projects, with a focus on capacity-building materials. This position will require you to edit and produce written outputs, and to find, organise and, when necessary, re-adapt the materials in several online spaces, like toolkit.ngo. This position also requires experience in NGO institutional strengthening, strategic ICT uses and training, and a good understanding of NGO needs.

Location: The successful applicant may work from anywhere in the world provided they have reliable internet access. APC provides an equipment allowance but requires staff to have and use their own computers.

Remuneration and duration of contract: This is a 1.0 full-time equivalent contract for an initial 12-month period (renewable depending on performance and availability of funding). Additional details on the project are below.

Start date: The successful applicant should be available to begin as soon as possible, but ideally, no later than mid-April 2018.
