This is truly a great loss for the nation.

Alari was a passionate, committed and intelligent writer with a nose for the heart of a story. I admired his selfless commitment to helping other journalists appreciate the advantages of ICTs as a tool and also his efforts in facilitating the media coverage of our ICT Policy process.

I shall miss this friend.
