Hello
stay away from the central business district if you can, there are riots
here, and the tear gas tastes really bad, most of the trouble is here at
harambee avenue, the riot police have just moved towards the ministry of
planning but they are walking back now, theres a military truck spraying
people with water, EVERYONE is running back towards moi avenue, stones are
being thrown by some demonstrators, they are not sparing civilian vehicles
either, theres someone breaking windows
there goes the phone booth, all booths!! the roads blocked,
some of the riot police have AKs, the others have shields and batons which
they are bashing together to scare people, it sounds abit like gun shots
its been going on for about 15 minutes and its not really getting better
I think the most of the media people have run off now, I don’t see any
stay safe
