In general, 'privacy' is becoming a nostalgic English word in dictionaries....like fax or callbox. If you use internet or a smart phone at all, there are at least 5 guys who can know everything about you that you consider 'private'. Including where you are now, who is nearest, your consanguinity, other relationships.... and even more spooky....where you plan to be and do this weekend.Search for 'google pizza' for introduction into the future on a light note.K.MOn 11 Nov 2017 00:30, "James Wanjau via kictanet" <kictanet@lists.kictanet.or.ke> wrote: Unsubscribe or change your options at https://lists.kictanet.or.ke/mIt's textual analysis, what most search engines already have that we see as search suggestions. And MS Outlook does the same, it's hardly a privacy issue.
And as for email providers, last I heard, using Google's public services- Gmail, Plus, Drive, Search, Maps, YouTube, Play- means that data you input is theirs too. I could be wrong though. On 10 November 2017 at 23:03, Francis Gesora via kictanet <kictanet@lists.kictanet.or.ke> wrote:Don't know if this makes sense, but if you try sending an email on gmail, with the word "attached" in your email body, gmail will always hold on sending and propose that you consider whether you want to attach a file. This seems a bit unsettling, does this mean email providers actually peruse the content of the emails prior / during sending?I know we agree to terms, but doesn't it go against privacy policies?--Regards,
