In response to the first question, i am inclined to say yes. I would be happy to see such taxes imposed on foreign hosted domains so that we encourage an uptake of local domains .ke or .africa. all the money we pay to .com or others goes to build other countries not our own. When will we build our own? Many say that the reason they opt for .com etc is the issue of cost. Wouldnt taxes on foreign stuff equalise the playing ground?
