Cassava Technologies is partnering with NVIDIA to build Africa's first AI factory, a high-security data center powered by NVIDIA's AI computing technology, aiming to be operational in South Africa by June 2025 and expanding to Egypt, Kenya, Morocco, and Nigeria.

This initiative will provide African businesses, governments, and researchers with access to cutting-edge AI computing resources, enabling them to develop AI products, streamline operations, and enhance competitiveness globally.

The AI factory will leverage Cassava's pan-African high-speed network and energy-efficient data centers to deliver AI as a Service (AIaaS), utilizing NVIDIA's accelerated computing and AI software based on NVIDIA Cloud Partner (NCP) reference architectures.

Cassava aims to empower local innovation, enabling Africans to build and deploy AI solutions tailored to address local challenges while adhering to global and local regulations, fostering economic growth and digital independence across the continent.
