Greetings everyone,

The KeNOG PC is pleased to inform you that the next online activity will be a tutorial/talk on "Responding to Distributed Denial Of Service (DDOS) attacks".

The event will be on the 31st of March 2021 at 3PM Kenya time (12pm UTC) and will be led by Mr. Joe Abley.

Joe has vast experience in several Internet fields and has led trainings/workshops at several meetings including APRICOT, SANOG, NANOG, and RIPE. He has also trained at almost all of the AfNOG workshops (since the year 2000) and also recently led an online DNSSEC workshop for KENIC.

Joe was actively involved in responding to the Mirai attack in 2016 and will share his knowledge and experience and tips on how to respond to DDOS and better defend against such attacks. More on Mirai: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mirai_(malware)

Registration info will be shared later via this thread.
