This is so sad to hear. 
Chief Kariuki showed that in the right hands, tech is a powerful tool to build connection and trust. That he used it to quietly promote better relations between people and government is credit to him. 
May we emulate him in our own spaces.
May Chief Kariuki rest on peace.
