My understanding is that the law on VoIP is not yet passed - but still a Bill in Parliament or something. However, it is supposed to still allow using skype for work - the main target are internet providers (cafes etc) who have been offering computer to phone services for a fee. Which might suggest the monopoly telco is pushing this b'se its losing revenue. Quoting Chip Sharp <chsharp@cisco.com>:
Overheard here in Geneva that Ethiopia now claims it never banned VoIP. Anyone else heard same? Chip _______________________________________________ kictanet mailing list kictanet@lists.kictanet.or.ke https://lists.kictanet.or.ke/mailman/listinfo/kictanet
