Interesting development.

India moved a step further to making their economy with a Government sponsored/owned Payment App called BHIM. The core aim is to ensure all citizen services government payment are made through this app. It takes the game one step further. One doesn't need a data plan to use this app especially in areas with super slow connectivity.
