Kivuva I would agree with you that it's tough..Though its more on the 'tough love' side of things than anything else. May be that will make all of us realize our roles in all of this. Having said that I also believe in the old Scout Motto - Be Prepared! I am rooting for the day that we all in Africa will speak in one voice. We must work towards that and never loose hope. But meanwhile life must also continue. Regards Ali Hussein On Thu, Jun 21, 2012 at 10:15 AM, Kivuva <Kivuva@transworldafrica.com>wrote:

Alice, I'm encouraged by the Dutch example and hope that we in Kenya can emulate that and come up with a National Position. At this juncture it would foolhardy to think that Africa as a continent can come up with a unified position. Forgive me but it would be akin to to herding cats!
Ali Hussein, you are using very tough euphemism on our brothers! We have seen Africa unite in the past.

Ali Hussein

@ Ory, why can't we as stakeholders meet and come up with a position, I attended an ATU meeting in Feb and I noted that there is very little interest in the ITR processes in Africa it is upon this generation to reverse this trend, I propose that we discuss this issue during the forthcoming IGF meeting and come up with resolutions. We will then decide the next steps. Sent from my BlackBerry®
