*Brief:* The event is aimed at creating awareness around the general data protection regulation (GDPR) which is a European Union regulation with a push for Kenya to have a Data protection law that will help in protecting and ensuring data privacy for all Kenyans.
*Objective:*
To enable that participants understand and appreciate the need for data privacy and protection in view of the GDPR impact on Africa, and Kenya specifically.
