I am really excited over efforts that have moved the Kenya IGF to great shapes and which have caught the imagination and drive of our you Turks. My congratulations and best wishes.

Dear Walu

It was indeed a great national IGF. And after 5 years of convening it, I am very pleased to be handing over to our young ISOC Kenya Chapter who will take the Kenya IGF to the next level/phase.

As you all know the Kenya IGF went on to convene the East Africa IGF, (which will also be five years) and last year we hosted the global IGF in Nairobi.  I wish to thank everyone who has provided support, energy and dedication over the last five years and hope that we shall all continue to offer the same level of support to ISOC Kenya.

Thank you once more and very best wishes to Grace Bomu, Barrack and the entire team at ISOC Kenya.

Best

Alice

@GG, @Alice

Was great session this afternoon at the Kenya IGF (missed the morning due to earlier commitments but heard it was even better).  Was particularly happy that the younger Turks - those on the greener side of 40 as Ali would say?- were running the show @Barrack, @Bomu et. al.

Glad to have been part of the inaugural K-IGF 4yrs ago and now seeing it take on its own life..

+1

walu.
