Dear All,

agree with Washington, he should have left earlier while his reputation and conscience was still intact. But will put a damper on the "great work and congratulations" that is being thrown his way...Kenyan's deserve better, to be treated with respect and should demand the best...in terms of good corporate governance accountability etc. We hope others on the board and indeed other institutions are clear about conflict of interest and their responsibility to Kenyans.

regards

Wambui

Way to go! Hope that sends a message to people who simply can't go, won't go.

Kenya ICT Board member quits amid controversy

Faced with perceptions of conflict of interest over Digital Villages projects, a member of the Kenya ICT Board has resigned.

Peter Kimacia's resignation comes after several months of controversy over his involvement in the ICT Board and his role as the head of the Digital Villages Network (DVN), a public-private sector partnership.
