We appreciate your concern on the issue of opening up the .ke top level domain for registration.
The rationale behind opening registrations at the second level domain only was to create a diversity of the registrations that can be done in the .ke ccTLD.
This is the model that has been adopted by most ccTLDs managers, which in a way, helps to avoid domain disputes in cases where a two entities with different orientation share a common name.
