Hi Charles,

I beg to disagree. The Prince proposing to his girlfriend is "private life" and really has nothing to do with Kenya or Kenyans for that matter. It's like you are asking Kenyans to invade into someone's private life. It would have made some little sense if the event itself was public, but you do realize that it wasn't. 

I can't agree further with you Washington.
The prince can propose to whomever he so wants, and that's nothing to do with Kenya or Kenyans. His grandmother was learnt of the her father's death while in Nyeri and she was crowned the queen after. That has never changed much in Kenya.
The prince is fulifilling his social obligation as the rest of humans
