why pay 10Mbps for 10K and 20K as well for the same?
is any of these shared ? is this between: Consumer<====>Provider 0<=====>Provider N<====>Internet?
capacity inflation?

My point ... the market has various options. from 1MB for 5K to 1MB for 75K
Unless someone is willing to say that Zuku is lying to Kenyans then we can say that 1MB in Kenya is now at USD60 ... which is good. That Zuku connection good {price, quality, reliability} ..... at least that has been my experience when I used it ....
Like ANY ISP, they may have technical issues and downtime but that is not unique to Zuku
Am told the other cable lands next year ... I am not praying that 1MB will be available for 2K
Thanks

Liko,
this Zuku thing sounds too good to be true. Its all that we have been waiting for. "Unlimited", "Affordable", "Broadband" internet to the consumer/retail level.
I will definately try it out and hope it does deliver. One thing consumers have to be careful about is when cheap translates into some substandard service whereby operators "over-content" users by oversubscribing the link...
i.e provide 1MB at the downstream/user/retail level but congest the same link with +10 or more other users at the upstream/wholesale/ISP level towards the Internet Backbone.
But definately this is an offer worth trying out and i do hope it is sustainable.

Hi Guys ...
About - http://www.zuku.co.ke/broadband/
1MB in Kenya for approx USD60
So we have gone a step better than the 100-200MB that has been a bone of contention on this forum ?
Can we close this bandwidth discussion now ?
