Noble thoughts indeed.
Real Politik however (regrettably) doesn't work like that. And maybe its a good thing it doesn't...Imagine every farmer, ICT practitioner, doctor et al wants to get an opportunity to be heard on who should be the best InfoCom, Agriculture, Medical Cabinet Secretary etc...
My two cents is that we must ensure we elect the right party/leaders and then hold them responsible for giving us the right leadership to run the government on our behalf - *Government of the people, by the people for the people.*
