Josh Interesting points. I think most regulators in most industries are struggling with the new technology dispensation. They will need to continuously update their tool kits. The current issue of the Take Down notice to Google is one such tool. These are good discussions to have and I'm sure they will assist KFCB to better manage their mandate. Has the Board considered getting into partnerships that will advance the cause for a 'family friendly Internet'?
That would include but not limited to use of filters, proactive training on the use of Internet at home.
While at it, they could commission the development of a Kenyan Internet filtering tool.
IMO, the Board can still advance the cause the believe in using available technologies.
