I was sure that website looked a bit different a few months ago. Did someone tinker with it? In any case, a new look is certainly worth whatever investment State House would need to make (even if it means accepting Areba's kind offer).

Despite its aesthetic failings, the State House website is probably the most frequently updated in all government. Sometimes within hours of H.E. the President making a speech the story and images are up. One gets the impression that there's a rational plan for how the website fits into the overall communications strategy. Maybe the staff at the State House need to help out their relatives at Vigilance House :)

And while at it, shouldn't the domain name be just statehouse.go.ke ?

This looks like what it should be (at least) but State House can do better? They can afford 3mice, dotsavvyafrica, etc, no?
I wonder who is responsible for State House website? Does Directorate of Govt ICT oversee these things? We still don't have an answer regarding the Kenya Police website, or is there?

Hello and I hope this finds you OK and in good health.

Please have a look at the attached photos viz a viz statehousekenya.go.ke website. I took two days off and decided to give it a makeover, now all i need is an email address i can forward the script (php) and db (sql) for the site. (its done in wordpress).  or just login for file transfer and db on an accessible server.

I think we are in agreement that what is online from a design / web dev perspective is horrendous. (With all due respect to the developer).  Consider this a gift from a kenyan patriotic enough to be pissed at the image being potrayed by those doing this, (that there are no competent web developers in the country).

Kind Regards,
Areba.
