Thanks for the shout-out. Particularly keen to learn more on Decidim. There is an open access e-book https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-031-50784-7
Some reasons for its introduction in Brazil are described at: https://democracy-technologies.org/participation/brazils-participatory-pluri... It does need adaptation for local needs, especially when deployed at a large scale. It can however also be used for smaller groups.

Kictanet has set a great example for digitization in Kenya by running its own email lists. Being able to run ones own infrastructure is a first step to being able to manage ones data. Some of the work done by Kictanet may benefit from using other software. In particular, would Kictanet also consider setting up and self-hosting: a) Nextcloud - a shared file service that can allow for collaborative editing of documents https://nextcloud.com/ <https://nextcloud.com/>
b) Loomio - an online discussion software for streamlined decision making https://www.loomio.com/ <https://www.loomio.com/>
c) Decidim - an online software for discussing legislative documents https://decidim.org/ <https://decidim.org/>
