Dear all


KICTANET team has finally finished a review of the I&C Bill and have come up
with proposals that are intended to concretise the government's passionate
views of exploiting ICT infrastructure and investments in place to propel
this country to greater heights using ICT. In doing so, the team was guided
by the ICT Policy and used best practice regulatory frameworks from over 12
countries and regional authorities. At the outset, the team is very grateful
to the government for making this initiative for publishing the draft bill.


The KICTANet team wishes to formally present their findings at a breakfast
meeting on Monday 7th at 0700-0830 at Gazebo Banda, Jacaranda hotel in
Westlands.
