Good afternoon Twahir
In response to your challenge on applications, i believe we addressing the fact that we ask to receive a duly filled application form.
This has been the case due to an internal process that we go through to assess the suitability to become a registrar, this is also in line with our licensing conditions and obligations with CA.
Obviously with the Covid situation, we have also had to adapt and interested parties have been sending duly filled forms scanned with the necessary information for consideration.
Our internal team is working on an online registration form which should also be available soon.
We are open to accepting different options of submission as long as we still adhere to the necessary requirements.
I am happy to discuss further on how we can assist you get accredited.

Listers,
I am currently engaged with schools in Kilifi and the County Government. To make matters easier for me, I thought it would be good to apply to become a .ke registrar. I was both amused and enraged to see an organisation that should be drumming up support to digitalisation enforce draconian way. The registrar application page reads: -
Those organizations interested in becoming registrars should:
1) Formally apply to KeNIC. The formal application letter should be sent by post (or delivered by hand) to KENIC, attention the Chief Executive Officer. Please note that the application letter should also be accompanied by your Company's Profile detailing your company's operations, location and abilities.
Does sending a letter add value to the registration process? I thought we were undergoing a digital transformation!
Regards
Twahir
