Interesting times ahead, seems like there might be greater need for governments to play an active role in management of the Internet going by recent events, first we had the EU recommendations, now nominet.

Nominet, the British domain name register for .uk domain names, has requested comments on proposed rules concerning “Domain names used in connection with criminal activity.” The rules would include “an expedited process to suspend domain names.”  read more here: http://infojustice.org/archives/5336
