I would believe this is a very broad issue to discuss. I would believe this may not be the solution to cyber security, I would think that localized servers have a better chance of being monitored compared to remote cloud computers. Unless this move means there is no need to invest in that facility and have it outsourced. But then a breach in security and 3rd party involvement could be a huge risk to take that could significantly be a big blow to privacy if anything goes wrong.

There are so many angles we can look at for this discussion. Its a very complex setup with so many moving parts.. many articles can be written about this and commentaries by different authors on various different topics in relation to specifically this.
