Yes, We should all discourage software piracy. It is illegal. However due to the high license fees, it has been very difficult to deal with this problem in Africa and of course in Kenya. But there are alternatives. Free and Open Source software (FOSS) exists for all those who cannot commit software licence fees and should be encouraged across board to even those who feel that they can afford. Microsoft has been active in BSA activity in Kenya. It is very importatnt that we discourage piracy of software which is very high particularly in Africa.

They are made up of large multinational companies that are starting to prosecute people and particularly governments and large institutions who are using pirated software?
