Further to our online discussion on issues of fake news, hate speech and social media, we now wish to invite you for a f2f breakfast meeting with NCIC on September 1st, 2017. This will take place at the Stanley Hotel.

We wish to thank all those who were very active and gracious in giving their views and honest opinion during the debate. We are grateful to Mercy Mutemi who ably moderated the discussion and is compiling the report that will form part of the engagement with NCIC. Further, the Commission will be responding to your questions as well as elaborating on issues that you would like clarified or elaborated on. In addition, the Commission anticipates great suggestions on how to continue dealing with challenges of hate speech and fake news.
