Listers, The Kenya Internet Governance Forum (KIGF) is an annual meeting that brings together various stakeholder groups to dialogue on ICT and Internet Policy. The forum brings together stakeholders from government, private sector, technical community, academia and civil society to discuss ICT and Internet policy issues on an equal footing through an open and inclusive process. While the discussions give soft policy outcomes , the forum is a knowledge sharing platform that informs and inspires actors in the Public and Private Sectors. The national forum feeds into the regional and global fora through a chain of reporting and representation to the regional and global IGFs to ensure a bottom up Internet policy development process and a strong link between global internet policies and the national one. Kenya IGF 2020 will be virtual and will be held on 29th October 2020. The theme for Kenya IGF 2020 is “Internet for human resilience and solidarity.” The Subthemes will be : (1) Data; (2) Environment; (3) Inclusion; Kindly save the date. Our online discussions commence on Wednesday 14 October 2020 and will be led by our alumni from the Kenya School of Internet Governance Keith Andere, Winfred Anyona and Kelvin Kariuki.
