Abdalla Thanks for the prompt and clear response. This should put the matter as pertains KeNIC to rest. We are all relieved. The community however should be interested in finding out exactly what happened. 1. Was the site hacked and brought down? 2. Did the the host decide the potato was too hot? 3. Why blame KeNIC? I have said before, we need to be careful about how we use social media and the Internet as a whole. Many thanks Abdalla,
From the title of the domain, it is possible that this is a publicity stunt that we swallowed, hook line and sinker. Wr should just put the matter to rest.
I stand corrected.

From our end, the domain belongs to Mr. Brian Maiyo.
The rest, he needs to contact his web hosting company.

Dear Listeners, Thank you for the various comments about the domain ”isuhuruinkenya.co.ke”
The official position of the matter is as follows,
(1) We have not deleted the domain as claimed. There is a comprehensive process of addressing domains disputes. The processes are contained in our ADRP (Alternative Dispute Resolution Policy). This policy can be accessed from our website. Those have used the process to address Domain disputes know that the process is clear.
(2) Currently, our WHOIS search can not be accessed. This is because there has been some issues with our ISP (liquid Telcom) connection this evening. Liquid Telcom team on this list will confirm that KENIC’s technical team has been in contact with them since 5:30 pm today. Our second ISP connection has not been able to pick up. This is being addressed as a separate issue
(3) The secondary site is currently up, so in a few minutes, the WHOIS search will be able to be up and running.
Lastly, there has been NO pressure from above or below to influence deletion of any domain.
Thank you, and I hope this explanation assists to put this matter to rest
Kind Regards
Abdalla Omari
Chief Executive Officer.
