AI is is an idea whose time has come. I agree with Midlred it is a tool. As policy makers we might want to review the processes that develop various AI components such as languages, usecases the role of end users in the evolution of various ai tools. Something akin to public participation and ways of ensuring that the tools dont infringe on the rights of end users.
