Blessed Furahi Day!

My recall from the Chair Ms. Lynn St. Amour presentation in the Kenya School of Internet Governance, is that the IGF has been renewed by the UN for the next 10years.
-          With the current representation cited for Kenya in the MAG list, the Private Community and Technical Community should rise to this challenge.
Or even advance for regional representation in the stakeholder groups through the EAC member countries
-          It is imperative that the African Union Commission should also have a chair to broaden and for fair representation beyond the European Commission (in iNGOs category).
-          On the budgetary front, the government should make budgetary allocation for Kenya’s representation.

Be blessed.

Regards/Wangari

Dear All,

The deadline to submit names is 16 December 2016.

Current MAG members do not need to reapply.

From the Secretariat’s counting we have twelve MAG members who are in their third term: https://www.intgovforum. org/multilingual/content/mag-2 016-membership

The MAG Renewal FAQ’s may also be a resource for those who have questions on the selection process: https://www.intgovfor um.org/multilingual/content/ mag-renewal-2016

I would be grateful if you could distribute the renewal announcement through your respective networks.

Best regards,

Chengetai
