The above refers.

The Senate Standing Committee on Information, Communication and Technology is established under standing order 212(3) of the Senate Standing Orders and is mandated to consider all matters relating to technology, engineering and electronic research, information, broadcasting and Information Communications Technology (ICT) development.

In the execution of its mandate, the Committee endeavors to engage with relevant stakeholders in order to ensure that it responds to the emerging needs of the ICT sector.

Towards this end, the Committee invites you to a consultative meeting whose objective is to deliberate on emerging legislative and policy gaps in the sector that require the intervention of the Committee.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, 11th March, 2021 at 9:40 a.m. on the Zoom online meeting platform.

We have slots for 10 listers. Kindly express your interest to attend by emailing me privately within the next 48 hours. This will be on a first come first served basis.

Thanks and regards

Ali Hussein
