Personally identifiable information  belonging to more than 4.9 million people from the country of Georgia – including full names, home addresses, dates of birth, ID numbers, and mobile phone numbers, including that of dead people – was published on a hacking forum on Saturday.

That’s more than the current total estimated population: according to the National Statistics Office of Georgia, as of 2019, the country had about 3.7 million people.
