If I may add, business drives innovation. I sympathize with ICT Board and other players as it is very difficult to showcase something that we don't have yet. Without these vital ingredients ( marine fiber, tiered infrastructure and possibly a global outlook in ICT ) , it is difficult to see any significant growth in terms of content development or use of technologies to benefit rural areas. A classic example is that of community networks. If I'm not wrong, CCK opened up this sector to allow communities to build their own where providers fall short. Has anyone in any community done so?  When we start thinking global, the effects and benefits will trickle down to even rural areas. If there is anything to be learnt from the tourism industry who time after time fought back to survive from issues beyond their control, it has to be unity and a common goal approach. The tourism sector can teach the ICT sector a lot. Simpy, I've never heard of a hotel operator asking the government to book guests to keep its business alive. Not to criticize anyone nor any offence intended, ICT sector needs to wake up and smell the coffee ;-)  My 2 cents.....
