Hi Mwendwa, Africa Top Level Domains Organization is the correct name. www.aftld.org. AfTLD is the regional organization made up of African ccTLDs. It is acts as a platform and a voice for African ccTLDs to share knowledge , build expertise (capacity building) and represent the interests of African ccTLDs in International Fora. It has a board (Executive Commitee) that is elected by the ccTLD Managers from the African region. Asia has its own equivalent APTLD, Europe CENTR, Latin America (LaCTLD). There is close collaboration between the four regional TLD organizations (www.rtldo.org). The meeting in Lesotho has already commenced there are 28 participants from 10 African countries, Kenya included.. Kenya is an active participant. KeNIC has sent a participant in addition to a training resource.
